The podcast is back!Ā
Pinstone is shining a spotlight on the people, brands and businesses that are a force for good in the new and improved Pinstone podcast ā the Beesā Knees Comms-Cast.
The podcast which was previously coined as the Agri-Food Comms Cast, has had a revamp with a new look and a new name ā but still with the same great conversations and great guests.
Managing director and founder of Pinstone, Catherine Linch explains what listeners can expect: āAs before, weāll be talking to inspirational guests behind brands and organisations that have a story to tell. But our common thread has evolved and this time around, is sustainability.
āItās clear that environmental drivers have come up the agenda ā in a big way and rightly so. In fact, itās one of the most commonly sighted reasons for keeping CEOās awake at night.
āI know from our own journey, working towards B Corp, achieving it and now pushing ourselves forward to be better for people and planet; itās all encompassing but hugely rewarding.
āBut for those organisations that are ahead of the game, investing in sustainability has proved, not only the right thing to do, but a platform from which to engage your stakeholders and audience on those authentic stories and the ethos behind the decisions and actions being done.
āThese are stories that internal teams, stakeholders, supply chains and customers need to know about ā and shout about,ā she adds.Ā
Moving communications forward
Itās also timely that weāre launching with this trailer during B Corp month. B Corp is an official business accreditation that weāve been through as our company, Pinstone, and is one of the ways to fly the flag for operating as a force for good ā taking in a broad spectrum of practices, encompassing not only the environment, but also workers, community, governance and customers ā with the aim to deliver for people, planet and purpose ā as well as profit.
This yearās B Corp month theme is āmoving forwardsā and this podcast is just one element of Pinstoneās purpose to highlight how we are moving communications forward.
Our first episode in the new season is a chance to hear Catherine speak to Harry Mayhew, co-founder of Ember Snacks ā a B Corp brand thatās got a unique brand proposition and is challenging the reputation of meat-based snacks for the better.
