International Women’s Day

Melanie Page

Mel has been inspired by actress, presenter and activist, Joanna Lumley who she was lucky enough to meet following a live tour show!

“Joanna’s message was very clear: Treat people how you would like to be treated no matter who they are, you don’t know what they are going through. Pursue your dreams, put the work in and it will reap rewards.

“Oh, and ALWAYS say thank you and be kind.”

Amy Stinton

Amy has a passion for agriculture and second-to-none organisational capabilities – attributes she says comes from the influence of her mum.

My mum doesn’t let anything defeat her. Helping my dad on our family farm for over 40 years, they are the ‘A team’, but my mum is the rock of the family.

“Seeing her achievements have made me the determined person that I am today.”

Hannah Lloyd

While PR tends to attract its fair share of career women, Pinstone’s specialism in the food and farming supply chain is more weighted to men. Hannah believes it is important to see an influential woman take centre stage.

“Minette Batters, President of the NFU, is an absolute powerhouse for the industry and one of the most impressive people to watch perform in an interview, however pressured.

“She proves what is possible when you nail your priorities and follow your passion.

“Her successful industry career that’s goes alongside driving her farming business forwards and being mum to twins is something I can definitely relate to!”
