Digital manager

Pinstone is a leading B2B PR agency and we are recruiting a digital manager to work with our client teams to research, plan, implement and maintain digital campaigns to drive results-driven engagement and awareness within our fast-paced PR agency serving a national portfolio of sector-leading clients.

The development of digital comms channels for our clients is a prioritised area of growth for Pinstone, and therefore we are looking for an experienced, commercial and self-motivated individual who will develop our digital offering. As a new position within the agency that already boasts strong digital credentials, there is opportunity to shape this role, and therefore a can-do and proactive attitude is imperative. The candidate will work closely with all members of the team and the mentoring of colleagues will be a key focus of the role, alongside the development and execution of digital strategies.

Working within a team of 24, this role will report to director level, however, the role will support all levels of the business.

The role:

As the agency’s digital manager, the role will entail the creation of effective and impactful digital campaigns for existing and new clients, as well as Pinstone’s marketing.

Responsibilities include:

  • Working with the PR team to create digital campaign solutions for multiple clients
  • Using strategic methods to create pitches, proposals and briefs for new and existing
  • Planning digital strategies to fit within the PESO model and deliver KPI-based results
  • Implementation and maintenance of ongoing digital projects, including SEO, social media,
    digital advertising and email marketing
  • Supporting the creation and editing of digital content, including videos, photos, podcasts artwork and copy
  • Managing website projects on platforms such as WordPress and Shopify
  • Regular, pro-active monitoring and reporting of social media channels and marketing campaigns
  • Managing specific digital budgets

Experience and skills:

  • A strong commercial drive with a ‘can do attitude’
  • Self-driven, motivation and results focussed
  • High standards, efficient working methods and an approachable team player
  • Minimum of three years digital marketing experience
  • Knowledge of the agricultural and land-based sectors would be advantageous
  • A proven track record in the following key areas:
    • SEO – technical, keywords, onsite and offsite
    • Google Ads – search and display
    • YouTube
    • Facebook and Instagram – page management, organic content and Meta Business Suite
    • LinkedIn Sales Navigator
    • Twitter Ad Manager
    • Reporting – Google Analytics search console, social media reporting and SEO
      software (such as Moz, SEMRush or SE Ranking) o Email marketing – MailChimp
    • CMS – WordPress and Shopify
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent


  • Salary: £32,000 – £38,000 (experience depending) plus company performance-linked bonus
  • 26 days holiday + Bank Holidays, with an additional +1 day for each year of service (capped)
